Corey’s Lounge is more than just a bar and restaurant—it’s a piece of Lansing history. Family-owned and proudly Lebanese, Corey’s has been a neighborhood staple on Cedar Street since 1955, when Sammy Corey first opened its doors as a small bar. In 1968, a tiny kitchen was added, serving up simple favorites like burgers and fries. By 1977, under the ownership of Bob Corey, the business expanded into Corey’s Party Store, and in 1983 a full kitchen opened with a complete menu. The party store later closed in 2003, but the lounge continued to thrive as a local gathering place. Today, Corey’s Lounge carries forward the same family tradition—good food, good drinks, and a welcoming space for friends, family, and the Lansing community.
